Becoming a Fellow

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for clinical radiology trainees to be admitted to Fellowship of the College (FRANZCR) are:

  • Pass both Part 1 and Part 2 exams in clinical radiology
  • Complete a minimum of five years of practical training in training positions the College has accredited
  • Complete all training, experiential, assessment and portfolio requirements defined in the RANZCR Radiodiagnosis Training Program Curriculum 
  • Update and finalise all activities on TIMS.

How to apply

  1. Complete and submit the Final Certification of Completion of Training Form. You can do this two months before you complete your training. The form must be signed by the Director of Training.
  2. When the College receives your Completion of Training Form, you will be sent a Fellowship Application Form.
  3. Complete your section of the Fellowship Application Form and arrange for your application to be certified by two current Fellows of the College.
  4. Submit your completed Fellowship Application form to the address provided on the form.

If you submit your Fellowship application paperwork prior to completion of training you can expect to receive a Fellowship letter within 10 business days from the date of completion of training.

If you submit your Fellowship application paperwork after you have completed training you will receive a Fellowship letter within 21 business days of receipt of your completed application form.
