The Annual Ceremony is the ceremonial event where there is the presentation of new Fellows, awarding of RANZCR Examination prize winners, and the conferring of honorary awards, Life Memberships, Roentgen Medal and Gold Medal. This is where you will be awarded by the College President.

Yes, if you want to be formally presented as a New Fellow, Award or Prize Winner on stage, you must RSVP through this website. If you have registered to attend the ASM you still need to RSVP for the Annual Ceremony. If you are unable to join us, please RSVP as not attending, and we can organise your certificate to be posted to you.

Yes, your family is welcome to attend the Annual Ceremony, no tickets are required for the ceremony. If they would like to attend the Dean’s Reception which follows the ceremony you can purchase additional tickets. Please check Ticketing policies below.

With the aim to ensure all delegates have the greatest opportunity to attend the Annual Ceremony and ASM, for the first time RANZCR will be offering an onsite creche service at a subsidised cost.

The Deans Reception is a cocktail event held after the Annual Ceremony. If you would like to attend the Deans Reception and are not registered to attend the ASM, you can purchase tickets through the registration page below.

You will need to hire the academic dress to wear for the proceedings. The academic dress package will include the black gown and the College stole embroidered with the College coat of arms insignia.

The package cost is AUD $60.00 incl. GST. Payment needs to be made by credit card when registering through this website.

Collection of your academic dress: To be collected from the venue on the day upon arrival at the event.

Return of your gown and stole: To be returned to the College Staff at the conclusion of the Ceremony.

Important note:

• If not returned, the gown and stole will be invoiced for a full replacement.
• You will have the option to purchase a College stole as a keepsake of your achievements. Cost: AUD$190 + GST. 

For ASM and Annual Ceremony attendance

• If you have full ASM registration, you are entitled to one (1) ticket for yourself and up to one (1) additional complimentary ticket for your guest to attend the Dean's Reception. Any further additional ticket costs AUD$125.00 inc GST.  

For Annual Ceremony attendance only

• If you register only to the annual ceremony, you need to pay to attend the Dean’s reception for you and your guests. Each ticket costs $125.00 inc GST. 

For College Honour, Award or Prize Recipients

• If you have full ASM registration, you are entitled to one (1) ticket for yourself and up to one (1) additional complimentary ticket for your guest to attend the Dean's Reception. Any further additional tickets costs AUD$125.00 inc GST.  
• If you only register to the Annual Ceremony, you need to purchase your tickets for you and your guests to attend the Dean’s reception. Each ticket costs AUD$125.00 inc GS

As you are a Fellow of the College, you will need to register under the consultant (radiologist or radiation oncologist) ASM registration rate. If you have registered for the ASM under the trainee rate (and you were a Fellow at the time of registration), you will be required to pay the additional amount to have the consultant registration rate.

The College recognises you as a consultant and not a student, therefore you will still be required to register at the consultant rate.

Yes, there will be a professional photographer onsite to take photos of new Fellows and awards recipients with their families BEFORE the Ceremony only. There will not be any further opportunity after the Ceremony for professional photographs. A link to download the photographs free of charge will be made available within a few weeks following the Annual Ceremony.
