The RANZCR Abdominal Radiology Group of Australia and New Zealand (ARGANZ), has developed training and credentialing guidelines for the practice of CTC. Applicants need to demonstrate that the CTC training requirements are met to be recognised as a CTC specialist.
Please read the CTC training requirements carefully before completing the Application for Recognition of Training in CT Colonography. You need to supply all the evidence requested and in the required format. Please use the CTC Logbook Template to document any or all of your cases.
All recognised CTC Specialists must record their cases annually in the RANZCR CTC Logbook – Ongoing Competency and submit an annual declaration to the CTC Accreditation Committee secretariat
You can choose to suspend your CTC Registration for a period of time when you are not performing CTC examinations by submitting a Suspension of CTC Registration Form
You can re-activate your CTC registration by completing a CTC Re-activation of Registration Form and submitting your cases using the CTC Logbook Re-activation
Your application will be reviewed by the CTC Accreditation Committee secretariat to check that it is complete. If necessary, the secretariat will contact you if they require any further information and/or documentation.
Once complete the CTC Accreditation Committee will assess your application. If your application is successful, you will be advised of this in writing and your name will be added to the CTC Register.
If your application is not approved, you may be asked for more information, or to clarify something in your application.
