Faculty of Radiation Oncology Genito-Urinary Group (FROGG)

This Special Interest Group was formed in 2001 following a GUOG/Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) workshop in Sydney.


The principal aims of the group are:

  • Promotion of good radio-therapeutic and oncological practice as part of multi-disciplinary patient management
  • Facilitating research, especially collaborative initiatives
  • Promoting the development of systems to monitor outcomes of radiotherapy management
  • Promoting and coordinating educational programmes related to improving patient care
  • Serving as a recognised radiation oncology reference group to advise Government and other bodies.
