Over 350 delegates will gather in Wellington from Friday 15 August to Sunday 17 August, as the New Zealand branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) hosts its Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM).
The three-day conference, held at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, will convene leading clinicians and industry experts to discuss the latest research, issues and advancements shaping the future of clinical radiology and radiation oncology.
The RANZCR New Zealand ASM encompasses world-class educational programming, interactive workshops, and keynote presentations, including a combined faculty panel discussion on the ethical and medico-legal considerations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in clinical practice.
Several distinguished international keynote speakers will feature at the conference, including:
“Our College is delighted to welcome delegates to the beautiful surrounds of Wellington for our 2025 New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting,” said Professor John Slavotinek, RANZCR President.
“This year’s program will explore in depth key topics such as Artificial Intelligence and explore innovations impacting upon sub-specialties across clinical radiology and radiation oncology.
“Our scientific program is complemented by a vibrant social program, providing delegates with abundant opportunities to learn, collaborate and network.
“We have a record number of delegates registered this year, which I believe reflects the strength of our ASM program and the critical importance our members place on life-long learning as a means of enhancing their clinical practice and the profession."
