The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program available for members to develop their clinical medical education skills in non-metropolitan training sites.
The new scholarship program is funded through the Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES) Round 4 program, administered by the Department of Health, Disability and Aged Care, as part of an initiative to expand specialist medical training opportunities in regional, rural and remote areas of Australia.
Delivered by RANZCR, the scholarship will support current and prospective clinical supervisors, Directors of Training, College committee members, First Nations Fellows, Fellows and trainees, to enhance their clinical medical education skills and supervision capabilities.
Priority will be given to scholarship applications from First Nations Fellows and Fellows located in Modified Monash Model (MMM) zones 2 to 7.
Scholarship recipients will participate in a range of professional development activities, reflecting RANZCR’s ongoing commitment to strengthen the professions of clinical radiology and radiation oncology in regional and rural locations across Australia.
