Perinatal Post-mortem Imaging Webinar Series

An ongoing series of six webinars to be delivered across late 2022 and 2023. These webinars form part of the broader Stillbirth Project for which the College has obtained funding from the Australian Government through the Department of Health and Aged Care. The project will increase the radiology profession’s capacity to undertake stillbirth investigations and autopsies and ensure these services are available to bereaved parents who choose to access them. The Stillbirth Investigations Project will develop tailored strategies, educational programs and resources to improve the uptake, acceptability, range and quality of stillbirth investigations in Australia.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists hosted a face-to-face workshop from 4-5 August at the Royce Hotel in Melbourne. RANZCR was pleased to announce that the Assistant Minister for Health, Hon Ged Kearney, provided the opening address. This workshop equips clinicians with the necessary knowledge to set up and manage a perinatal post-mortem imaging service.

The workshop was an advanced course preluded by the foundational six-part Perinatal Post-mortem Imaging Webinar Series. Attendees must have viewed all six webinars as prerequisite learning for the workshop.
