The Board of Directors of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) has approved ten goals to enhance diversity and inclusion.
The goals were agreed following a report delivered by RANZCR’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce on creating a more inclusive College.
The College’s goals include promoting a diverse membership on RANZCR committees and councils; training in unconscious bias for anyone who holds a leadership position; and adapting college terminology to use inclusive language.
The College will audit its progress each year and report back to Fellows and staff.
