I am pleased to announce that the ARGANZ Meeting will take place on the 28th and 29th of March, 2026, at The Westin Perth, with a pre-meeting workshop on Friday, 27th March. The meeting will be held in collaboration with the RANZCR WA Branch and will bring together leading experts and practitioners in abdominal radiology for a weekend of high-level education and professional engagement.

ARGANZ Workshop
The workstation-based workshop is on Friday, 27th March. International and local experts will guide delegates through case studies and discussions, providing a highly interactive learning experience. The workshop topics will be announced later in the year.
Special Opportunities for Registrars
ARGANZ is proud to continue offering complimentary registration to a number of JMOs and radiology registrars for the 2026 meeting. We are also excited to host the inaugural Young ARGANZ Trainee Day on Friday, 27th March, in collaboration with OGSIG (Obstetrics & Gynaecology Special Interest Group). This dedicated day includes lectures, case-based reviews, and mock exam sessions through the School of ARGANZ and School of OGSIG.
The prestigious Mendelson Research Prize will be awarded to a registrar for the best original research oral presentation. The winner will receive a generous prize of a trip to Europe to attend the ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) meeting.
Networking and Social Opportunities
Beyond the academic program, ARGANZ 2026 will offer many networking and social opportunities. It promises to be an enriching weekend to learn, discuss, share, and connect with peers and experts in abdominal radiology.
The ARGANZ meeting will take place the weekend before the Easter long weekend, providing a perfect opportunity to stay longer and take a holiday in WA.
