Our work includes:

  • Advocacy: actively engaging with government, industry, consumers and other stakeholders
  • Quality and Standards: improving the quality and standards of clinical radiology and radiation oncology services
  • Research: fostering a culture of research, actively supporting research as part of training and in the professional lives of our members
  • Our Consultations: seeking member feedback on the development of professional documents, reports and submissions
  • Other Initiatives: including our Examination and Assessment Review, the Specialist Training Program and our support for international activities.
  • Interventional Radiology: The Interventional Radiology Committee was established to improve the recognition and support for IRs and INRs within the College structure, and to better advocate for these rapidly evolving specialties.
  • COVID-19 Updates: including position statements and guidance, useful links and impact to College activities
  • Indigenous Health and Engagement: RANZCR is committed to supporting the professions of clinical radiology and radiation oncology to contribute to equitable health outcomes for Māori, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
  • The RANZCR Perinatal Post-mortem Investigation Training Package: The RANZCR Perinatal Post-mortem Investigation Training Package has been created to provide radiologists with essential skills to conduct perinatal post-mortem investigations and set up and manage a perinatal post-mortem imaging service in Australia.
