The College has developed a guideline to provide recommendations to members who are involved in the diagnosis and assessment of prostate cancers using MRI. Where experience or exposure to prostate MRI has been limited, it is recommended that clinical radiologists engage in professional development activities to ensure a comprehensive knowledge of the local anatomy and pathogenesis and have the skills to distinguish normal and abnormal histopathology.
