RANZCR has provided this submission to Cancer Australia's consultation as part of the development of the Australian Cancer Plan 2023–2033.
RANZCR supports the development of a 10 year plan because increasing the capacity and capability of Australia's health care system to diagnose and treat cancer is vital and can be addressed within this time period.
There were 52 recommendations made addressing the following topics: cancer screening, technologies and treatments, digital cancer care strategy, national cancer guidelines, patient access, funding and cancer research.
