Are you interested in becoming a JMIRO Trainee Reviewer?

For the first time, the College is offering the opportunity for trainees to become peer reviewers for submissions to the Journal of Medical Imaging of Radiation Oncology (JMIRO).

Peer review is designed to assess the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. It is the foundation for safeguarding the quality and integrity of scientific research.

The opportunity to review submissions to JMIRO will provide an excellent insight into research in medical imaging and radiation oncology and it will allow you to develop your research skills and knowledge.

You will be supported by an experienced team of Associate Editors, who will assessand provide feedback on your reviews.

Eligibility criteria

Trainees in both faculties who have completed either the Wiley Reviewer Academy or Publons Academy.

How to apply

How to become a trainee reviewer:

  1. Complete one of the followingfree online courses to guide you through the essentials of peer review: the Publons Academy or the Wiley Reviewer Academy
  2. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) using this online form and attach evidence of your completion of either the Publons Academy or the Wiley Reviewer Academy
  3. Following submission of your EOI, someone from the College will contact you to confirm receipt and whether or not you have fulfilled the requirements. If you have fulfilled the requirements, Wiley will contact you with all the information you need to start reviewing.
