The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is welcoming reports of a new Medicare rebate in the forthcoming Federal budget to help fund Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans for prostate cancer. According to the reports, men will be able to access a $400 Medicare rebate towards an MRI scan to help diagnose, detect and monitor prostate cancer.
