Expressions of Interest for 2 x CR Paediatrics Working Group Members

Expressions of interest are invited from Fellows in Clinical Radiology to join the new Clinical Radiology Paediatrics Working Group. The role of the Paediatric Working Group is to review current paediatric training arrangements and identify new opportunities or innovative ways of providing additional training, exposure and support to improve trainee learnings and outcomes.

The Paediatrics Working Group reports to the Clinical Radiology Education and Training Committee (CRETC). We are seeking two Paediatric Fellows to join the working group. This member will be appointed on a three-year term and may be re-elected to serve a maximum of three consecutive terms. Terms commence immediately and end 31 December 2024.

Commitment

Members will be available to consult with College staff regarding administration activities; attend the Paediatric Working Group meetings via video conferencing. Please find further information in the position description.

How to apply

  • Knowledge and understanding of current adult education principles and responsible for own professional development in this area
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and examination processes
  • Passion for education and training, and trainee wellbeing
  • Post-Fellowship experience (minimum two years full-time or three years part-time) in a teaching Radiology Department.
