It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at RANZCR NZ ASM 2024 in beautiful Queenstown from the 2-4 August, to be held at the Millennium and Copthorne Hotels.

The theme for 2024 is “Together, To Share.” The lockdown due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic forced us all to move away from physical into virtual meetings. Now with the worst of the pandemic behind us, we would like to invite everyone to come together once again, face-to-face, reconnect with peers and friends, to share knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen our collegial community.

As always, the program will include international keynote speakers in the forefront of their field, as well as distinguished local speakers.

The Radiology keynote speakers are Dr Richard Do, a hepatopancreaticobiliary imaging expert from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, and Dr Giles Maskell, past president of The Royal College of Radiologists (UK) based at Royal Cornwall Hospital, UK. We promise to deliver an engaging radiology program encompassing topics on error, emergency and oncology imaging, as well as a hepatopancreaticobiliary MDT, and not to mention our fun “rap battle” quiz.

The Radiation Oncology keynote speaker is renowned Associate Professor Farshad Foroudi, Director of Radiation Oncology at Austin Health, Melbourne. We also have a multidisciplinary team of local experts discussing ongoing advancements in Radiation Oncology.

A combined session panel will also be held to discuss the future of Radiology and Radiation Oncology.

We are sure you will not be disappointed with the scientific and social program, with the conference dinner at the spectacular Winehouse, a historic homestead nestled among the vines of Gibbston Valley.

Nestled in the Southern Alps, Queenstown offers unmatched alpine vistas and snow-draped peaks, making it New Zealand's winter haven. Whether you seek a thrilling mountain adventure or prefer savouring exquisite meals and wines, take a break from the routine and retreat to Queenstown.

Come join us. Maybe bring your whanau, including your tamariki. We hope to see you there.
