The European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) is hosting its third joint ESTRO-RANZCR session at the forthcoming meeting in Vienna from 5-9 May 2017. As part of the second MOU signed between ESTRO and RANZCR last year, the formalisation of this reciprocal joint forum has been achieved with FRO and ESTRO sharing topic, speaker and chairmanship selection from the outset. This year the topic is: Big Data to Better Radiotherapy and the Faculty will be ably represented by A/Prof Shalini Vinod from Liverpool Hospital, an expert in the area of translation of big data to the clinical environment. Her talk will be entitled: “How to move big data results to clinical practice – a positive outlook”.
