Radiation Oncology and Clinical Radiology Trainee SMART Workshop
Registration for 2023 Statistics and Research Methods (SMART) Workshop is now open for trainees from both faculties- Radiation Oncology and Clinical Radiology.
The College conducts the SMART workshop annually in conjunction with the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Trans -Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG). There are two different SMART workshop themes, which alternate each year. The theme this year is on Evidence Appraisal Skills. The workshop is conducted with support from Biostatisticians from the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre.
Radiation Oncology trainees: Trainees are required to attend at least one SMART workshop by the end of Phase 2. However, it is encouraged that trainees complete the SMART workshops within the first 12 months of Phase 2 to provide the foundation for engaging in the research project.
Clinical Radiology trainees: The SMART Workshop is opened to Clinical Radiology trainees in 2023. There are limited seats allocated for Clinical Radiology trainees, and the College encourages you to book your spot soon.
