The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics, University of Wollongong in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC) USA, is once again hosting the International conferences of Mini- Micro- Nano- Dosimetry (MMND 2022) and Innovation Technologies in Radiation Oncology (ITRO 2022), in Sutton Forest in the Southern Highlands near Sydney on the 4th and 5th February 2022.

See the website for the provisional program and impressive overseas and local Faculty.

This will be a hybrid meeting ahead of the usual in-person meeting which has been delayed until February 2023 in Noosa, Queensland.

Continuing the series of biennial meetings, the Mini- Micro- Nano- Dosimetry (MMND) conference will bring together international and Australian radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation scientists and nanomedicine experts.

The talks at MMND will focus on new achievements in the radiobiology of radiation therapy including particle therapy and synchrotron MRT, radiomics and artificial intelligence as applied to radiation therapy and imaging, advanced dosimetry in radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging and diagnostic radiology for physicists including trainees (DIMPs).

Innovative Technologies in Radiation Oncology (ITRO) is devoted to the clinical implementation of new technologies in X-ray therapy, brachytherapy and particle therapy.

ITRO will be focused on “Modifying the Biologic Response with Modern Radiotherapy”.

This will include new radiation sensitisers/targeted drugs, flash RT, fractionation schedules, imaging response and particle therapy.

We look forward to seeing you at MMND ITRO 2022, which will provide a unique multidisciplinary forum to discuss advances and future developments in radiation medicine in parallel with the opportunity to continue discussions at the beautiful Peppers Resort in Sutton Forest, enjoying meeting colleagues again and an exciting social program after working hours.
